  1. thanks for this. looking at your screen shots I see that the the audio and video clips are seemingly suspend in the void – whereas mine are always connected to the primary storyline. that is the magnetic part of the magnetic storyline I guess. Never seen clips not connected to the primary storyline before – how did you do that?!

    • Hey Chris… more to come when I get time… as to connections, just go to the clip appearance menu (lower right of timeline, looks like a film frame) and uncheck “show connections”. That way you only see the connector snorkel things when you select a clip in the primary. They’re still connected, you just don’t see it unless you need to. I don’t know how people edit with that display turned on. 🙂
